Hi Everyone, the attached thumbnail below shows a copen with chrome overiders, I have only found them available on a Japanese website
http://moderno24.com/rouge_noir/catalog/index.html
Does anyone out there know if they are available elsewhere ?
Preferably nearer to the UK. :)
Or has anyone purchased anything for their Copen from the above site ?

Hi Coxsie,

I bought mine (http://copenworld.com/vb3/showpost.php?p=306&postcount=1) from Japan directly, unfortunately the supplier (or may I say fortunately, as he was quite unreliable, still waiting for some parts to be delivered ) is not in business anymore.

I think, the only way to buy them is from Japan directly, I do not know any shop in Europe which sells them.

Here's a list of suppliers in Japan you could contact (maybe rushmere could list them on the directories page?):

Sakura-Car (http://www.sakura-car.de/4832.html):
Sells any parts from Japan, speaks english, Paypal possible or bank transfer to german bank account
Mail: info@sakura-car.de

Boom Enterprises ( http://www.boom-enterprises.com/topmain.htm):
Official sales agent of Kumoi Motors (http://www.km-copen.com/agent/index_e.html), but also sells any other parts from Japan, Paypal possible, but they add 5% handling fee, or bank transfer to Japan
English speaking
Mail: km@boom-enterprises.com, overseas@boom-enterprises.com

Moderno2&4 (http://moderno24.com/):
English speaking
Bank transfer to Japan
Mail: ochi@moderno24.com

Only bought things from Sakura and Boom so far, Boom being the best to deal with, Sakura sometimes a bit slow in communication.

Beware, always make sure you get quoted the price without Japan domestic tax and don't forget to add british VAT and customs, possibly bank transfer fees as well as shipping costs to calculate the final price.

Hope that helps?

Andreas

Those chrome overiders look good. Very retro. Reminds of of the style of the Figaro.

Cheers for the info patou, but the ones you have shown have curved cut outs on the side to allow fitting over an existing bumper, the ones I have seen are square edged and enclosed.:(

It's a shame are they are a good price. :):)

It's wierd that the title of the Item has my surname in it ??

Thanks again

Hi Rex,

only just discovered your question. :o

Well, not perfect, but here (please register to see all the pics) (http://www.micro-roadster.de/wbb2/thread.php?postid=13270#post13270) I tried to document how to fit them.

If you need more information (i.e. translation) please let me know.
