VAT Increase Inflates UK Copen Price [Updated]

As expected, the published price of a Copen in the UK increased a little at the start of the year to reflect the increase in VAT from 15% to 17.5%.

The "On the road" price is now up to £11,822 (http://www.daihatsu.co.uk/copen/) from £11,745. The cost of accessories have also risen.

However, new Daihatsus remain hard to find in the UK.

Update: The published "on the road" price is now up to £11,997 (thanks to copenworld member dk21 for pointing that out).
