Trying to dry it.

Because I'd just washed it.

I was trying to wash the soup out of it.

Maybe I should stop eating lunch at the PC.

(There's a clue here as to why I don't do any work on the Yellow Peril myself...)

I have heard you can do that, as long as you dry it thoroughly and slowly.

I think "slowly" is the key word here, as opposed to propped up against a storage heater on the Bessemer furnace setting... :o
