Daihatsu has launched a new Compact Car in Malaysia called the ALZA (http://www.daihatsu.com/news/n2009/09112401/index.html). The car has been produced in association with Perodua, in which Daihatsu owns a 20% stake.
According to Daihatsu, the "ALZA" vehicle name is based on the Spanish word "alzar," which means to raise, boost, or lift, thus designating a vehicle that "enhances your lifestyle".
